The Call for Speakers/Abstracts for the 29th Congress of the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM-AEDH-EVKM) is now open!
Organized by the Association of Hospital Managers Physicians of Lithuania, it will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 3 to 5 June 2026.

Join us for 3 inspiring days with healthcare executives, innovators, and managers from across Europe.
Expect high-level keynotes, thought-provoking discussions, interactive sessions, and expert panels.

We invite you to submit presentations on projects or achievements related to hospital management that highlight innovative ideas in this sector. We are counting on fruitful exchanges of best practices and are particularly pleased to offer you the opportunity to share your ideas and achievements at our congress, which is the EAHM’s flagship event. Several types of presentations are possible, including lectures and shorter presentations as part of panels on the topics listed below. Poster presentations are also possible. Your abstracts will be submitted to a scientific committee for review.
Abstracts may be submitted until 31 October for the following tracks :
- Building Effective Leadership in Healthcare Organizations:
Leadership strategies for fostering innovation, collaboration, and resilience in healthcare systems. - Technology in Healthcare & Virtual Healthcare:
Leveraging tech innovations for better diagnostics, treatment, and patient outcomes. The pandemic accelerated the adoption of telemedicine and virtual health services.
Side topics: Artificial intelligence in healthcare, wearable devices, data security/ cybersecurity, telehealth infrastructure, privacy concerns, improving access to remote care, artificial intelligence - An Aging Population: As medical advances lead to longer lifespans, addressing the needs of an aging population becomes crucial.
Side topics: Geriatric care, age-related diseases, preventive measures for seniors, integration of health care and social services. - Mental Health Destigmatization: Breaking down taboos around mental health is essential for overall well-being; The socioeconomic challenges of addiction and the role of healthcare professionals.
Side topics: Mental health awareness campaigns, access to mental health services, addiction. - Environmental Health: Addressing environmental factors impacting health (e.g., pollution, climate change). Side topics: Air quality, sustainable practices, green spaces in urban planning.
- The Role of Diversity and Inclusion in Pharma and Biotech Leadership: How diverse teams can drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.; Ethical Leadership in Pharma and Biotech: Navigating the ethical dilemmas in drug pricing, clinical trials, and patient access; Leadership Development Programs for Healthcare Professionals: How to cultivate the next generation of leaders in pharma, biotech, and healthcare.
Regarding the submission guidelines, please consider :
- Presenters may only present one abstract. If an author has multiple accepted abstracts, each must be presented by a different co-author.
- Language: All presentations, whether oral or poster, must be in English.
- Oral presentations: Oral presentations with slides will range between 15-20 minutes. Oral presentations which are part of a panel will range between 5-7 minutes. More information, including presentation guidelines, will be provided upon confirmation of participation.
- Poster presentations: Presenters are responsible for designing, printing and putting up their posters. More information, including poster guidelines, will be provided upon confirmation of participation.
- Virtual poster presentation: Presenters whose abstract has been accepted for poster presentation but not able to attend the Congress in person may opt to present their poster virtually. More information, including the guidelines, will be provided upon confirmation of participation.
- Registration fee: Presenters must register by 15 December 2025 to secure their spot in the programme. Speakers are exempt from paying a registration fee. Poster Presenters are entitled to a discounted rate (half price) and a special discount code will be provided upon confirmation of participation.
