“Our arguments seems to have convinced responsible health officials and the deputies in federal and state governments. The many discussions of members of our association with them locally in the hospitals in the past months together with the numerous actions up to a few days ago have clearly shown the dangers which would come forward from (parts of) the planned regulation for hospital care. The now proposed amendments to the draft Hospital Structures Act is a success of these. “says the president of the German Association of Hospital Managers (VKD), Dr. Josef Düllings.” By this, the Federal Health Minister has ensured under the current options, together with the Ländern, a reasonable working basis for the approximately 2,000 hospitals in Germany.
