Handover of positions at the EAHM
On 13 November 2025, the Annual General Assembly of the European Association of Hospital Directors was held in Geneva, during which a new President and Vice-President were elected. The current President, Lucy Nugent from Ireland, officially handed over the President’s chain of office to Alexandre Lourenco from Portugal, who will take up his duties on 1 January 2026.
The Vice-Presidency will now be held by Nikolaus Koller from Austria. The General Assembly also approved the Board’s proposal to appoint Luca Jelmoni from Switzerland as the new Treasurer.
The EAHM members warmly congratulated the new appointees and expressed their gratitude to Lucy Nugent for her commitment as President over the past few years.
