Why this matters for European hospital managers
Efficiency is a central concern for healthcare systems across Europe. Hospitals and healthcare organisations are being asked to respond to increasing demand, demographic change, workforce pressures, financial constraints and rising expectations from patients and communities.
The theme of the 18th APAH Value Conference is therefore highly relevant to the wider European healthcare management community. It creates an opportunity to discuss how better management, stronger decision-making, innovation and collaboration can support more sustainable and value-oriented healthcare systems.
EAHM welcomes the work of APAH in promoting healthcare management leadership, strategic reflection and professional exchange in Portugal and across the European hospital management community.
