Across Europe, hospital and healthcare managers are addressing many of the same fundamental questions.
How can organisations respond to workforce shortages while protecting quality and professional wellbeing?
How should hospitals prepare for artificial intelligence, the European Health Data Space and increasing
cybersecurity risks? How can services become more integrated, resilient, sustainable and responsive to
the populations they serve?
The institutional arrangements may differ, but many of the leadership and management challenges are shared.
EAHM Voices brings these perspectives together
EAHM Voices is a European editorial platform for independent opinion, professional experience and
constructive debate on the issues shaping hospitals, healthcare organisations and health systems.
It creates a space in which hospital and healthcare managers can share knowledge, examine emerging
challenges and contribute practical perspectives to Europe’s healthcare management conversation.
Why EAHM Voices?
A considerable amount of management knowledge already exists within hospitals, national associations,
universities and healthcare systems. However, much of that knowledge remains local.
A successful workforce redesign, integrated-care pathway, digital implementation, patient-safety initiative
or crisis response may contain important lessons for other organisations without ever reaching them.
EAHM Voices aims to make this experience more visible, accessible and transferable.

A European perspective
Articles should go beyond describing a single organisation or national initiative. They should
identify lessons, implications or questions that are relevant to managers working in different
European contexts.
What makes a strong contribution?
EAHM Voices articles should be informed but accessible, constructive, evidence-aware and independent.
They may present an argument, analyse an emerging challenge, reflect on professional experience or
share lessons from implementation. Important factual claims should be supported by reliable sources,
data or clearly identified professional experience.
A strong article should
- present a clear argument or professional insight;
- analyse a relevant management challenge;
- share transferable lessons from experience;
- support factual claims with reliable evidence;
- contribute to constructive European debate.
EAHM Voices does not publish
- product or service promotion;
- institutional marketing content;
- unsupported generalisations;
- unsubstantiated factual claims;
- content without broader management relevance.
How to submit
Standard articles should contain between 900 and 1,300 words,
with a maximum of 1,500 words unless otherwise agreed.
Authors should also provide:
- a title and a 35–55-word homepage excerpt;
